Sinatra & Basie at the Stands
A Tribute to the men and their Music
Michael Berkowitz, conductor for Liza Minnelli, along with the 16 piece New Gene Krupa Orchestra, & Vocalist Tony Babino, present an incredible musical re-creation of Sinatra's first Live album, performed in April 1966 with Count Basie: "Sinatra at the Sands".
While the show contains the actual musical arrangements of Nelson Riddle, Billy Byers, Quincy Jones and others... it is NOT a Rat Pack show!
"Tony is not a Sinatra impersonator, but a wonderful performer who understands this music better than anyone else currently on the scene...
( I should know....I've worked with all of them )"...Mike Berkowitz
A Great, Classy, Exciting concert / show...filled with Basie Instrumentals like Makin' Whoopee, Splanky, I Can't Stop Lovin' You, and All Of Me.....plus....classic Sinatra tunes Luck Be A Lady, I've Got You Under My Skin, I've Got A Crush On You, Come Fly With Me, Street Of Dreams, One For My Baby, Fly Me To The Moon, My Kind Of Town, & many more.....
