Meghan K. Davis possesses the rare skill of singing while accompanying herself on the concert harp. She has been performing throughout the Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic United States for over a decade. Ms. Davis received her Bachelor’s of Music degrees in both vocal and harp performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Music of The John Hopkins University and followed those up with a Masters of Music Performance in vocal performance at the Boyer School of Music of Temple University. She resides in northern Virginia, where her career has continued to flourish. She has received over a dozen awards over the past decade including six consecutive years of being honored with both the Wedding Wire Couples Choice Award and the Best of Gig Masters Award. Joining her onstage will be cellist, Alexander Keller. The cello’s rich and warm timbre provides a winning combination when joined with the celestial sounds of the harp.
Come and enjoy an excellent musician who began her musical journey at the tender age of four. Not very often will you be able to hear and enjoy a vocal and harp performance in Beckley, let alone see a harp up close.
